Studio Acrylics Crackling Effect Modeling Paste is a 2-step formula for creating dimensional effects and impastos with a crackled finish. The Step 1 is an undercoat designed to extend the adherence of the Step 2 Crackling Effect Modeling Paste. Allow to dry 1 hour before applying Step 2. The paste-like consistency of Step 2 makes it easy to use in thin or thick layers the use of a painting knife. The depth of the cracks varies consistent with the thickness of the application. It is part of the Studio Acrylics range of auxiliaries, designed to widen the realm of creative possibilities when painting with Studio Acrylics High Viscosity colors. Studio Acrylics Auxiliaries may also be utilized in Mixed Media applications to further expand creative possibilities. To be had in a set containing a 100 ml tube of Step 1 undercoat, and 250 ml tube of Step 2 Crackling Effect Modeling Paste. Conforms to ASTM D-4236. AP certified.
